Services that are not provided on the premises are provided at Saint John's Health Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA Center for Health Sciences, or at one of the community hospitals such as Brotman Medical Center, Century City Hospital, or Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital, depending on the availability of the facilities.

Our physicians are on staff at one or more of the above hospitals, which represent the best hospitals in California, and beyond in some cases. We select the facility to suit the individual patient and his/her illness because our physicians have the latitude to select among the various institutions. For example, if a patient needs a relatively minor operation, we will select one of the smaller community hospitals where tests and procedures can be scheduled and performed quickly; if he/she needs more extensive testing and surgery, a larger or tertiary care medical center would be more appropriate. Certain procedures can only be done at certain facilities. Organ transplantation or open heart surgery, for example, can only be done at facilities that are so designated by the state.
